The simplest way to make a purchase is through our search at smjsearch.com. Once you find the item there will be a form on the page that will let you bid or order it.

The form may be different depending if it's an auction or direct shop order. The example above is a shop order from "Surugaya". The price is listed, enter the quantity you would like to order, and your password for confirmation. Click "Confirm" and the order is placed! Auctions may require one more step, but we'll go into that in more detail in the "Tutorials" section.
Another way to purchase items is to use the standard forms on the website. Simply fill those out and follow the instructions and your purchase will be made.
Once bid on or purchased you'll get a confirmation email and the item status will show up in the "Your Account" page similar to this:

The status will update as we make the purchase for you. At this point, you don't have
to do a thing.
Once the item is checked in at our Tokyo office we'll send you an email invoice for payment of the order. It will include all the payment instructions needed.
Depending on your region in the world, your items may be stored at our Tokyo, Japan office or forwarded to our office in the USA. The status in the "Your Account" page will
be updated accordingly. Once an item is marked "Stored" it's in stock and ready!
Finally, you can request shipping of your items! Since we store your items for up to 60 days in Tokyo, or 90 days in the USA, this actually allows you to make multiple purchases and store them all together. This can dramatically reduce shipping costs instead of
having every order shipped individually. But that choice is yours! We ship them when you want them!
And that's it! You'll get an invoice for the shipment and the items are on their way to you!
