Rates for all Japanese Auctions and Shop orders:

Combine auctions and save! Purchase multiple auctions or items from the same seller/shop on the same day and if we are able to combine them, you'll get a discount! For each item after the first you get -$1.00 off! Please keep in mind that we cannot always combine orders due to some circumstances and seller willingness.

Example 1: Purchase 2x items at 2,000 yen each, the first item is $6.00, the second is only $5.00! ($1.00 discount)
Example 2: Purchase 10x items at 5,000 yen each, the first item is $8.00, the remaining 9 are $7.00 each! ($9.00 discount)

Rates for Japanese Special Orders:

There is a base $10.00 Special Order fee for the first item, $2.00 for each additional item (added to processing fees in your invoices). Plus rates as shown:

*If your order is rejected completely, there may be a $5.00 fee for our time. Please check to make sure your items are in stock and an order can be placed prior to submitting.

Rates for USA Orders:

$5.00 minimum fee or 10% of the total order cost (whichever is higher) including shipping, tax, etc.

Wire Fee (Processing Fee):
We charge a flat $3.00 processing fee per order. These can be combined with multiple auctions and orders from the same seller if we are able! So you could buy 10 items from the same seller and pay just one processing fee.

Internal Shipping:
This includes the cost of sending the item from the seller to the proper storage facility either in the USA or Japan.

Bid Wars:
It is rare, but on occasion, multiple users will bid on the same auction. This situation is pretty uncommon and although this does not increase the cost of the auction (because it uses our same YHJ ID), it sill raises the maximum bid. Under normal circumstances with some other user bidding the cost of the auction would go up and up and up. This way, if both participants are SMJ customers, you can save a lot of money!

Instead of raising the auction price and paying the full difference, we charge only $2.00 per 1,000 yen.

So 50,000 yen auction going up another 10,000 yen, we charge $20.00. Just about 20% of what you would have paid if another non-SMJ user bid the full 60,000 yen!

Other Fees:
In some cases auctioneers will charge a small % "seller commission" fee because YHJ charges them the same amount. Its uncommon, but if your a regular customer you will encounter it. There are other hidden charges that some auctioneers put in with their items; the best thing to do is use the translators on our help pages and read them best you can. Few sellers tag on extra fees, but it can and will happen...so please be aware of it.

There is also a handling fee on all single and combined shipments depending on the items themselves. This fee will not exceed 350 yen and is included in the "internal shipping" fee.
